Poetry Corner - The Charm of Thetford Forest

The Charm of Thetford Forest

In Thetford Forest, the pines do thrive,

Their branches reaching to the sky, 

A sea of green, alive and alive,

Nature's beauty, never to die.

The Norfolk grown Corsican pine,

Is a sight to see and treasure,

Their strength and beauty will always shine,

A natural wonder beyond measure.

Railway sleepers, crafted with care,

From these pines, they'll always be,

Built to last, they'll always be there,

In gardens, they'll forever be.

The charm of Thetford Forest,

Is something to behold,

The Norfolk grown Corsican pine,

Will forever be told.
