Bring a touch of myth and mystery to your space with our Green Man Metal Wall Art. Inspired by the ancient symbol of rebirth and nature, this striking design is available in two unique versions – one featuring just the Green Man’s face, the other with his face framed by a full circular border.
Made from durable British steel, this wall art is built to last. Suitable for use both Indoors and Outdoors, you can choose from two finishes to suit your style. Opt for bare steel if you like the rustic charm of natural rust over time, or go for a bold, textured black powder-coat for a clean, long-lasting look.
Both styles include four 6.5mm screw holes to make installation quick and easy. Simply screw into any wall or fence panel to give your garden, hallway or lounge a bold and mysterious centrepiece. Whether indoors or outside, this Green Man design is perfect for bringing character to any setting.

Key Features:
What is the Green Man?
The Green Man is a legendary figure often linked to nature, growth and renewal. Found carved into churches, hidden in forests or decorating ancient buildings, and now in this metal wall art, he is most often shown as a man’s face made of, or surrounded by, leaves and vines. Many believe he represents the spirit of nature and the constant cycle of life – birth, decay, and rebirth.
The Green Man appears in folklore across Britain and Europe, with stories tying him to the seasons and the natural world. By displaying him in your home or garden, you’re adding a piece of that ancient story to your space.
Style Dimensions:
At Indoor Outdoors we have many products which we describe as Rustic Steel. This refers to the fact that the item will rust over time to give it that lovely orangey-brown vintage look.
When your product arrives, it may have small patches of rust forming, but it will be in its bare, Mild Steel state. It will be a mostly grey-ish colour. Over time though, as the item is left outside and exposed to the elements, a rusty patina will form on the surface of the steel which gives it that lovely hue. This can take time though, and depends entirely on the outside conditions. Heavy rainfall and bad weather will help it rust faster.
You can speed the rusting process up though, some of our customers have recommended using vinegar, salt or lemon juice on the surface to get that rusty look a little sooner.
Depending on weather conditions, we say it can take anywhere from several weeks, to several months to fully rust. Jason, one of our customers has shared a special tip for achieving that lovely rusty outer in just 2 days!
You can pour equal parts of distilled vinegar and hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle, along with a 1/4 of a standard cup of salt. Spray this mixture all over the product and it will cause an immediate reaction, rusting in just a matter of days!
