Custom Rectangular Rustic Steel Raised Flower Bed & Planter

Create a clean border around your trees, flowers and shrubs with the Indoor Outdoors Cubic Rustic Steel Raised Flower Bed & Planter. You can also fill it with stones and succulents for a stunning garden showpiece.

Provide 3 custom dimensions for us (we need a length, height and depth for the shape) and we will give you a custom price. As it is a custom product, this will require additional time to manufacture and cut.

The planter can be displayed either way up, with the lip showing at the top, or at the bottom to create a straight edge at the top.

This maximum dimension for any side is 600mm, for any products over this size, please use our Super Size Rectangular Planter product instead.

The natural weathered metal rust finish will grow over time, similar to COR-TEN steel. The product will be shipped to you clean and rust-free, the rustic appearance will grow over time and with exposure to the elements.

You will receive:

4 Corner Panels.

M6 Bolts & M6 Nuts (Number depends on the size of the item).

The product is shipped flat packed, consisting of 4 side panels and 4 corner panels.
Due to the need for bespoke manufacturing, any cubic planters are subject to a 14 day maximum turnaround time due to this being a custom - no Next-Day services are available for these.
If purchasing 3 or more of these, we will have to send them on a pallet, so you may incur a £60.00 minimum shipping fee.
We reserve the right to refuse returns on these products due to the nature of them being custom-made.

Rusting Process Explained

At Indoor Outdoors we have many products which we describe as Rustic Steel. This refers to the fact that the item will rust over time to give it that lovely orangey-brown vintage look.

When your product arrives, it may have small patches of rust forming, but it will be in its bare, Mild Steel state. It will be a mostly grey-ish colour. Over time though, as the item is left outside and exposed to the elements, a rusty patina will form on the surface of the steel which gives it that lovely hue. This can take time though, and depends entirely on the outside conditions. Heavy rainfall and bad weather will help it rust faster.

You can speed the rusting process up though, some of our customers have recommended using vinegar, salt or lemon juice on the surface to get that rusty look a little sooner.

Rusting Process for Rustic Steel Products Explained

Want it to rust faster?

Depending on weather conditions, we say it can take anywhere from several weeks, to several months to fully rust. Jason, one of our customers has shared a special tip for achieving that lovely rusty outer in just 2 days!

You can pour equal parts of distilled vinegar and hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle, along with a 1/4 of a standard cup of salt. Spray this mixture all over the product and it will cause an immediate reaction, rusting in just a matter of days!
